SACREMENTO, CA; Maverick Management Group, LLC, (MMG) acting as an owner’s representative and project manager for Lodging Investors Holdings, LLC, announces the completion of the renovation for the iconic Grange Restaurant at The Citizen Hotel in downtown Sacramento, CA.
The project, designed by Sacramento local Whitney Johnson, includes a revitalized dining room, expanded bar and lounge area, additional second-level dining, and a new semiprivate chef’s table space. New flooring, lighting, artwork, cozy booth seating, additional bar seating, second level dining and a wall size custom painting by former renowned Grange bartender Ryan Seng are among the many enhancements made to the hip downtown eatery.
The extensive renovation was completed in a mere 16 days. Months of preplanning coupled with the dedication of the True Line construction crew and hotel staff, enabled us to reopen the restaurant and bar within the constrained two week schedule to rave reviews. “The close collaboration of Whitney Johnson, TrueLine and Maverick Management allowed us to pull off what seemed an impossible schedule,” said Lyerly Spongberg, Design Director at Maverick Management Group. “The end result is a much lighter, more modern and inviting space,” added Lyerly.
“Anticipating unforeseen conditions, construction issues, providing thorough value engineering and adhering to a strict schedule are representative of Maverick’s dedication to providing our clients with strategic solutions and always in the Owner’s best interest,” said Fred Tuck, President of Maverick Management Group.
